What’s the difference between hentai and anime?

My younger sister told me that hentai is just anime with ***** girls. Is this true? What is the difference?

   hentai is anime **** (not necessarily with girls). anime is just japanese animation

   hentai in Japanese means ********* , u guess the difference:D anyway i wont say more than that bec u sound really young:D
